Hi everyone! I'm Yulina, the head of Bluebird English & Japanese School. Bluebird is a small, personal language school where all of our teachers are native or bilingual speakers of the languages that they teach. We believe that learning a language is more than just learning grammar and vocabulary. It's learning about people and culture, nuance and communication, and this is why it's so important for teachers to be native speakers who not just understand, but really feel the language that they teach.

Hi, I'm Yulina. I'm half Japanese and half Singaporean. I was born in Singapore then moved to Japan, and went to schools in both countries. During high school, I studied abroad in the U.S., Australia and Taiwan, and after graduating university I lived in England. My hobbies include cooking, traveling and going to the gym. I speak a bit of Mandarin and I'm currently studying Russian!

I have lived in England for fifteen years, and I have also graduated from a university in England too. I enjoy playing the cello, scuba diving and hiking in the mountains. I have also lived in France for a year, and I continue to learn French in my own time.
